It is not bartender staffing and it is not a fully clothed hostess shift. If you want the night to keep circulating, book staff. If you want a set, book a duo.
What a duo actually is
Two performers work the same window. They arrive together in street clothes, change on site, and run a set that is built for a living room, a villa, or a suite — not a stage with a pole already bolted down. Typical time is 45 to 90 minutes. The room stops. That is the point. Guests who did not sign up for a show should not be in the house.
Duos exist because one dancer in a group of fifteen spends the night doing math. Two dancers split attention, cover more of the room, and keep the set from turning into a queue. We will still tell you when one performer is enough. A duo is not an automatic upgrade for a six-person birthday.
How it differs from other bookings
Hostess-only work is fully clothed, no performance, and built for mixed-age or corporate lists. A duo is adults-only performance. Do not invite the office and then ask for a two-girl set. Bikini waitresses and bartenders keep drinks moving for hours and do not pause the party. A duo does pause it. Plenty of groups book staff for the afternoon and a duo after dinner. Those are separate arrivals.
Solo dancer bookings still exist and still make sense. A duo is the call when the headcount or the room size would leave one performer stranded. What the night looks like
You give us the address type, the headcount, and a start window. They arrive on time, change in a closed room, and work the set you booked. Costume and theme requests are made at booking — referee, cheer, seasonal looks — not invented at the door. Duo choreography is part of the product. If you only want two separate solos in the same hour, say so. That is a different night.
Where it fits
Private homes, villas, hotel suites that allow visitors, and some boats when the charter already approved performers. Hotels that said no vendors are not a debate at 11 p.m. Houses with a living room and a door that closes are the default. Private house party packages that already assume two dancers are the closest packaged version of this; a straight duo booking is the same idea without the extra add-ons.
House rules
No photos or video unless you cleared it before anyone left the office. No touching beyond the booking. Payment on arrival before the set starts. Guests who cannot follow that are the host’s responsibility. Requests that turn the booking into something else end it.
Price and booking
Two performers, duration, day of week, and travel set the number. Saturday in season costs more than a Wednesday in Doral. You get a price on the call, not a form. Weekend dates want a week or two. Same-day happens when coverage allows — ask. Have the date, neighborhood, headcount, and whether you want a duo or a solo.
